DUO 1.6 is a direct replacement for obsolete DUO 1.5
DUO 3 is a direct replacement for obsolete DUO 2.5
Both pumps are equipped with a high vacuum safety valve that closes the vacuum chamber tightly and vents the pump when the pump is at a standstill
Suitable for both low and medium vacuum applications

Our Precision Plus Pfeiffer DUO 1.6 & DUO 3 Major Repair Kit is equivalent to the OEM Maintenance Kit and Vane Kit combined! 

Pump Variants:
M versions – Magnetic coupling

  • Duo 1.6 M
  • Duo 3 M

Oil Capacity: 

  • DUO 1.6 = 0.4L
  • DUO 3 = 0.4L

Oil Compatability:

Pfeiffer P3 is equivalent to Precision Plus UG20

Suggested Maintenance Schedule:

Daily:

  • Visual inspection
  • Check operating fluid level
  • Check filter insert of external oil mist filter

As needed / Annually:

  • Change operating fluid
  • Disassemble casing, sight glass, and pumping system and clean casing outside (without cleaning agent)
  • Clean gas ballast valve and silencer
  • Clean the motor fan cap

As needed / Every 2 years:

  • Minor Repair Kit
  • Disassemble the pump, clean and exchange seals and wearing parts

As needed / Every 4 years:

  • Major Repair Kit
  • Change vanes
  • Change valves, springs, and sight glass
  • Change silencer nozzle
  • Check coupling and exchange is necessary
